KindWords helps families write obituaries, eulogies and related memorial text. We know the details you share are personal, and we keep what we collect to the minimum needed to write them.

What you share with us

When you use the writing form, you type details about your loved one, such as names, dates, family members, stories and service information. These details are saved in your own web browser so you don't lose your work while you check out.

How your details are used

After you pay, the details you entered are sent to our AI writing provider (Anthropic) only to produce your writing, and the finished text is shown to you on the page. We do not keep a database of your details or of the writing produced, and we do not sell or share them for marketing.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy explains how it handles payment information: stripe.com/privacy.

Advertising and analytics

We may use Google Ads conversion tracking, which uses cookies to tell us whether a visit from an ad led to a purchase. It does not share the details you typed about your loved one. You can manage Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

Clearing your details

The details saved in your browser can be removed at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this website.

Children

KindWords is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
